The screenplay is in the form of proper commercial format and not documentary. Fortunately, there are no songs or item numbers because the script didn’t demand any. Setup is mostly indoors with maximum time spent in the courtroom. Compliments to the casting director who got right people in the film. Akshay Khanna essays such roles effortlessly and impressively. Richa Chaddha, though apt for the role, is somehow not impressive. She lacked the required firepower. The nemesis of the film is its script. It is predictable and weak. Although I am not well versed with law but both Akshay Khanna as well as Richa Chadha seemed to have things very easy for them. Cross examinations, evidences, testimonies etc. worked conveniently well for both, blatantly ignoring certain aspects of the case which could have made investigation more conclusive.
While watching It in the theatre, I could have been convinced that I was actually there to see a comedy starring Bill Hader. Not only were there way too many jokes in the dialogue, but because of that, the tone of the movie led audience members who didn't take this movie as seriously as some of us King super-fans seemed to laugh at every single scene they found not to be scary.
Perfect movie to be watched with your friends. Beautifully written film backed with loads of fun, humor & a fantastic message for the youth to Fikar not & live life to the fullest. From the very start to its end it takes you down your memory lane of amazing college & hostel life . There are lot of laugh out loud moments to tickle your funny bone, emotion and a message to remember for life. Its worth a watch in the cinemas. Walk in to the cinema near you with your friends for double the fun !!
Just finished watching 47 Meters Down starring Mandy Moore & I just had to leave some positive feedback. Absolutely excellent film with great story & good acting.... Entertaining all the way through maybe the best film I’ve seen all year... I have been binge watching Shark movies for the last month like Open Water & Capsized etc though I love the Open Water Trilogy I must say #47MetersDown Takes The Cake - GREAT JOB !!!
I've been following these "Fallen" films since the beginning and Angel Has Fallen didn't fail to entertain. Yes it started off a bit slow, but when it picked up steam and hit overdrive, it was non-stop action, with Agent Mike Banning being a bit more humanized and relatable in this film than the other two. There's a set-up, family drama, murder, suspense, drones, explosions, implosions, betrayal, bullets, guns, blood and overall rip-roaring action. What more can you ask for in a great popcorn, hot dog and soda film! Are you getting some deep psychological thriller, where pseudo-intellectual critics can deep-dive into some esoteric theoretical meanings that only they can understand, that the rest of us can't...NO. Thank goodness! But what you ARE getting with Angel Has Fallen is a thrill ride, so buckle-up and have fun.
