The director has presented this movie in such an articulate and captivating manner that you would hardly find time to look for any drawbacks. Picture perfect!!! Ayushman as Kartik looks so good. His moves, every word coming out of him is so adorable that your mouth would go agape. Jitendra Kumar as Aman, did a commendable job in his debut film. As a gay couple, their chemistry works so well, and they are very convincing too. Gajraj and Neena Gupta, onscreen couple and parents of Aman create magic, similar to what we experienced in "Badhai Ho"... They are a darling duo. The rest of the ensemble is very supportive and gel well in the film's plot. It feels like a complete package. A very well made movie on gay relations narrated in a very convincing manner. And I guarantee that you would come out of the movie hall with a broad smile, reflecting on how much fun you had watching it.
From the stunning visual effects that transport the audience into the beautiful setting of Alaskan frontier, to the brilliant acting of the cast who bring life and meaning to the rugged characters of the film, to the thrilling plot that causes an edge of the seat reaction, this film has it all. Watching this inspirational journey of a dog and his best friend, I was filled with both moments of bubbling laughter and heartfelt tears. I highly recommend this film to any viewer who loves adventure, humor, and a deep, confronting message.
Jawaani Jaaneman is a bright and happy film. It is eminently watchable for the most part, not the least because the dialogues (by Hussain Dalal and Abbas Dalal) are free-flowing and witty. When an actress of Tabu's calibre says "he needs meditation" with just the right degree of all-knowing insouciance, you believe her.Jazz is right up Saif Ali Khan's street - he pulls off a remarkable star turn without breaking a sweat. Kubbra Sait, playing the firm-as-a-flagpole Rhea, strikes the right notes. The brightest spark in Jawaani Jaanemanis Alaya Furniturewalla. When you watch a young actress having fun before the camera rather than striving to prove herself, you instantly know that she's one confident performer. She has the chops. Saif will draw you into Jawaani Jaaneman. Alaya will keep you glued even when the pace of the film seems to flag a bit.
“Physical,” the album’s latest single, is her most obvious pastiche yet, setting a chugging, bordering-on-cheesy synth line beneath a melody seemingly descended from Patti LaBelle’s “New Attitude.” Of course, Olivia Newton-John’s eternal “Physical” remains the true guiding light for the track’s peppy, Jazzercise energy, but Lipa’s song brushes past simplistic, imitative devotion. She sings about feeling “diamond rich” with her new lover, so keyed up on the honeymoon phase that she can’t sleep. The vigorous chorus is as fit for the gym as the dancefloor. “Lights out, follow the noise,” she snarls in her smoky lower register. “Baby, keep on dancing like you ain’t got a choice.” It’s polite of her to consider there was any other option.
